1077. The Ocean

Though rivers emerge in different places 

    ultimately meets the ocean

    like, though man holds another belief system

    in the name of religion

    all journey ends towards the same destination

Though plenty of water is available in front of our eyes

    it doesn't quench one’s thirst

    as if even though one could accumulate lots of material 

    possession in the name of wealth

    one has to leave everything and leave

    with empty-handed when one’s spirit leaves the body  

The beautiful living creatures that survive 

    within the deep oceans has its boundaries and limits 

    within the ocean

    as if though man thinks arrogantly as if he knew everything

    but his limitations are limited to not learning from

    where he comes and where he goes

The ups and downs of the tidal waves, often

    based on the attraction of the moon on earth

    reminds the constant flux or the changing 

     the mood of the mind is not only based on the outside 

    environment and situation but through the

    thought waves that arise within

- And because of the thinking mind, the feelings 

    of the heart affect emotionally based on the 

    movement of the breath, then 

The waves reach the seashore as if it wants to be 
    parted from the ocean but finally bounced back to the
     the sea is like a metaphor for all beings on earth are the
    same part and parcels of nature

- And he cannot be separated from anything 

    though the cookies are made in different forms 

    and shapes but made from the same dough

likewise, though all living beings have different forms 

    and shapes, all are made from the same essence and substance 

    of nature from one single particle - the divine.
